First postpartum period

Hi! I gave birth 5 weeks ago on Monday so currently 4 weeks and 5 days PP. (C-section) My bleeding stopped last weekend and has started again today, Is this likely to be postpartum bleeding still or my first period?🤔 TIA!

Is the blood bright red? I stopped bleeding at around 3 weeks 5 days and came on my first period 4 days ago so it could very well be your period. If you’re worried though I’d definitely reach out to your gp. I was tracking my ovulation and it matches up with when I’d start my period so I’m quite sure mine is.

@Morgan yeah the blood is bright red! I don’t feel worried about it, maybe I’ll monitor and see what i think. How many weeks pp were you when yours started if you don’t mind me asking? Thanks girl xx
