Anyone's else's toddler an a hole 🤣

Why is it everytime I spend ages in the kitchen preparing food or even a coffee then I finally sit down my toddler comes to me demanding shit from the room I was just in! Asks for a drink or a snack. Like come on, let me have 5 minutes to drink my coffee🥹😂😂 and I can't tell him to give me a moment because he screams in my face or throws his cup at me.. I've tried controlling this behaviour but nothing works. But yeah lol 😂

I give my 3-year-old snacks before she asks for them, and then I make my food and tea. Then I don’t get disturbed while she’s enjoying her snacks. Everybody is happy. Lol

Mine will wait until I have to go into the kitchen to prepare food, then demand to be picked up. 🤣 She has a toddler tower, but she wants to be picked up instead. It's only when I'm making food and need my hands, doesn't matter if it's me or my husband, either. Has to be whoever is busy at the time.

Yup. This happens all the time. Sometimes I wind up yelling at her, she will cry, then ask me to wipe her tears and give her a hug. By then I’ve calmed down and get a chance to talk to her about being respectful of mommy’s time and capacities, that when I’m actively getting something for myself or for her is not the time to ask for something else, and that I’ll get to her requests when I can. And maybe it’s not my ideal parenting, but I’m human too and I cannot handle all of the little human things all of the time. (So glad it looks like daycare is starting soon. January was brutal, and things are kind of okay now, but we need a break from each other and she doesn’t start school until September.)

They have internal comfort/busy monitoring systems that alert them any time you get half a moment to yourself or your hands are full. Comes standard with most toddlers ‼️🚨🔔 🤣😅😮‍💨

@Melina yeah I'm signing my son up for nursery in September, kinda dreading it as I love having him with me 24/7 but at the same time I need a break from him 😂 but I do have a nearly 7 month old baby girl so yeah have to live with this all over again lol. I'm trying to tell him my hands are busy or full but he just doesn't acknowledge that. Think he has a hard time understanding, and honestly I yell at my son it is hard to deal with little humans when they're literal crotch goblins 😂😂

Girl I’m all for a demanding toddler and mine does the same but try not to allow the whole throwing things at you when he isn’t getting what he wants straightaway. It will escalate if you allow him to think throwing things at mummy is okay x

@Tshai 🇯🇲 I'm trying my best to tell him to stop throwing things because he does it with everything if he isn't getting his own way.. I let him throw his tantrums try to keep my cool it's honestly so hard sometimes. I'm going through the whole "naughty 2's stage" trying to survive and teach him but it's so hard.

Lucky, mines immediately throws his food as soon as I set it down or turn away for a second. 😂 then stares me down as I do it with a “look what I did smirk”😏

Wait for his birthday or Christmas/ sit in a room with the door closed and say you’re wrapping presents, just rip paper up for an hour and you’re golden😂
