Foods for the newborn trenches

I’m currently breastfeeding and recovering from a c section with a 12 day old and my partner working full time. He feeds really often so I’m struggling to eat enough during the day (I eat dinner when my partner is home to cook for me, other than that I maybe have a couple of biscuits throughout the day when I remember). What foods are you all eating that are quick and easy and ideally one handed friendly?

I've started buying protein drinks and snacks. There is a drink at home bargains that's got 35g of protein and it's only 95p. I also double up on slimfast shakes so 2 servings in 1 bottle, it's an easy 450cal to keep you going. Obviously I try and eat as much as I can but I've also had a section and I have a clingy baby who is constantly BF and I also have a little girl who is 3 in August to keep me busy too.

Breakfast bars, flapjacks, smoothies xx

Dates, nuts, dried fruit, hard boiled eggs (make ahead of time, peel and keep in fridge) 👌🏼

Lots of fruit, and snacks, ready meals, sandwiches, anything I can find really! Important to nourish your body, you went through so much!!
