My niece was born at 32+5 and is a feisty, healthy 2.5 year old!!! She had a 35 day NICU stay but did great! Stay strong mama! You got this! Try to stay as calm as possible, it will help everything. Take help from nurses. Take the pain meds if you need them. 🩷
My boy was born 31+4 and is now a very happy and healthy 11 month old. He was 1.88kg at birth and is now over 10kg. You'll be fine! Bub will be fine! It's a tough few months but you get through it. We did 3 days in NICU then 6 weeks in special care. Once you're home you forget all about it x
Both my kids were born at 34 weeks. One spent 10 days in the NICU the other spent 3 weeks. Goes to show every baby is different. I wish you the best and hope you have a safe delivery and baby is healthy.
My baby was born 30weeks+5days. He was born 3.5lbs. We were in NICU for 6 weeks and he doubled in weight by the time we left (6lbs.) It’s not easy but modern medicine works wonders and your baby is in the best of hands in the hospital. Trust your gut and mama instincts, no one will advocate for your baby as best as you can, so make sure to speak up and say something if anything bothers you. Baby will grow and you’ll go home before you know it! My baby is about to be 7 months old, 20 pounds and in the 74% for size! He is chunky and happy and healthy. You will get through this! Take all the help you can get and find a good support system for yourself. 💕
My little girl was 32 weeker, it's OK and you all will be OK. I now have a 2 year old and honestly you would never know anything, keeps me on my toes! The nurses are AMAZING, especially neonatal. Supported me as much as they did her. Lean into them, you will be OK x
Recently had my 32+1 weeks little boy , he spend 22 days in the nicu and is otherwise healthy 🙏❤️ he weight 1.6kg currently 9weeks/1 week corrected and he weights 3.5kg .
