I am no expert pretty momma, but from what I’ve been told you will supply what she needs and if your not, you have to allow that supply and demand to happen. I breast fed all 4 of my babies and the second I switched to combo, it was over. The supply was there and my breasts no longer were the main supply. If you’re totally cool with transitioning then I say do what you feel is best momma! If you don’t want to risk weening, I would try and wait a little longer and use some helpful aids to get that milk up! Obviously loads and loads of water is key! But there are supplements and even teas you can buy to help you organically bring that production up! I absolutely recommend reaching out to your Dr! These are fantastic questions! Also if you happen to have a lactation consultant I would reach out to them as well and they should have some helpful techniques for you to use. They may even schedule you and appt to help you avoid the combo feed! Good luck momma!!!
Kendamil is the best option! It's the cleanest as far as ingredients and the most tolerable. If sensitive to cows milk protein, there is also a goat milk option. That's what I used for my (now) 18 month old. I combo fed from 4 months on. 🤍 You got this, mama!
