One month rentals London

Hi, I had a question I wondered if someone could answer. I have family coming to London from abroad in August, 5th to 26th and it’s my dad and younger siblings. I currently live in a one bedroom flat with my one year old and I’d love to find them somewhere they can stay maybe the whole time or even 2 out of 3 weeks. I’ve looked everywhere and it’s extortionate lol I’d be responsible for looking after them as they’ve forked out so much on the flights. I’m happy for them to stay in my house but I feel as they’d be more comfortable in their own space. Does anyone know where I can rent or lease somewhere for a short period of time without forking out thousands?? Pls comment if so! I’d even be willing to pay someone who’s going on holiday or something for their place. Thanks in advance! x

Have you looked on openrent ? Also have you considered an Air B&B?

I’ll check openrent now, AirBnb is like thousands of pounds, can’t find anything cheaper than £3k 😩

Do you have any local Facebook groups or what’s app groups? Where I am people are always looking for people to stay in their properties whilst they are away.

booking.com and air b&b will be your best bets, however August is the most expensive month due to Summer holidays perhaps try areas outside of direct central London, but with good transport links, i’m not sure what area you are from

I live in Camden which is ridiculously expensive but I’m happy for family to stay anywhere, everywhere is accessible to Camden thankfully, I’ve checked booking.com but it’s still quite expensive as it’s dad, older brother and 4 kids. If I was to rent an apartment, would I need to disclose how many people are staying? The kids are all so young and don’t even need their own bedroom x

I'd also ask around on nextdoor. In my area there's quite a few people who rent out their place for few weeks.
