My friend has recommended doing NCT private antenatal classes. Has anyone else done them or something similar? Are they much more in depth compared to the NHS antenatal classes. Thanks
I've not done them but we did these face to face antenatal classes that they'd just started at St. Mary's and they were very in depth! Not all NHS classes are though and I've heard mixed things. I'd also say keep a critical mind as they felt like bottle-feeding and c-section scaremongering sessions. I've heard similar of NCT though. However NCT is meant to be just as much for the social aspect and loads of new mums make friends there and I've heardit described as paying for friends. The NHS classes were not social but I loved that the midwives worked in hospitals nearby so knew everything about the facilities x
