Best bottle for a Premie baby?

I’m due in June for a C section at 36 weeks maximum (hoping I make it that long, but I am high risk and there’s a chance my boy will be here at any moment). I understand for bottle feeding a premie they need slower flow teats, a good latch so they don’t swallow too much air and also a dummy to help with the muscle development, does the dummy need to match the bottle teat? It’s all new to me 😅 Ultimate question is which bottle was best for you?

Our nicu used Dr browns and sent us home with a premie and Transition nipple both slower paces than the 1 in stores. But they used the green Phillips avent soothie so we used that too So if you can you can ask if they use or recommend a certain bottle.

My daughter was born at 32 weeks we were advised in the hospital to use mam bottles with a size 0 teat. We also use mam dummies

My twins were born at 36 wks, they needed feeding tubes for one week as lack of suck reflux. The hospital gave me lots of disposable bottles they used to go home with and recommended mam, they got on v well with mam. I did buy Tommy tippee in advance but the babies did not get on with them and the hospital said they are notoriously bad for preemie babies so they all went to waste. Bottles are expensive id only get a couple until you work out what your baby gets on with! Xxx

hi darling, my little girl came at 34+6 and we fed her with the hospital bottle for some time and then we tried dr browns/ mam + philips avent. she liked all for a period of time and we kept switching depending on what she was feeling 😅 we got rid of dr brown quickly though, the mam teats also ended up being too fast for her and now she's only on philips avent. she didnt like the mam dummy as it was really big, i'd recommend the philips avent dummies (she loves them) but not the soothie, we use the ultra air ones (orthodontic). i hope this helps. goodluck with your birth, hope little boy comes here safely and the delivery is smooth for you both 🩷

Silicone or glass!!!! Micro plastics are serious endocrine disrupters

My daughter was born 4 weeks she had reflux and a tongue tie and MAM bottles and dummies worked the best for us x

I used Mam teet 0 and my daughter was born at 32 weeks.

My little girl arrived at 35+2 and was initially tube fed. I struggled to BF so ended up expressing to give her milk through the teats given to us by the hospital as she was only having 40ml feeds every 3 hours. We were later reccomended the MAM, size 0 as we were discharged and haven’t looked back! Xx

We use evenflo balance plus
