@Taslima yess that's just it, I try to batch cook too because otherwise its so easy to just slip into eating frozen foods, omelettes, pasta and that kind of thing when its just for one 😅 If we only eat the foods we both like then it could get quite limited, so tricky!
Yes and it's so frustrating. I normally make us all a base protein and carb and then add fruits and vegetables separately to mine and our daughter's plate, but it would be so much easier if I could just make one meal for everyone 🙄
Bit of both. Cook separately some nights of the week, but eat together twice a week
Sometimes my fiancé will make shrimp Alfredo, or I will for him and make something else for myself. I don’t like seafood lol he also likes spicy but adds hot sauce after so you just gotta work with the differences sometimes
Omg I am in the exact same boat and my husband moans that we never eat the same dinner in the house as we make our own separate meals. If I fancy something for dinner, doesn’t necessarily mean he will want to eat that and vice versa so it’s just easier to make our own meals although not ideal but I do tend to batch cook so that something will last me a few days. I only cook 3 times a week and the remaining meals are something quick i.e a jacket potato with a filling
