Anyone still shocked ? How many babies do yall have already?

I WAS SOOOO SHOCKED! I just got my nexplanon removed mid January, my cycles were off track while on it so that is why I removed it and also was causing me pain in my arm and tingling sensation! But omg I’m shocked because this is baby #5! Our oldest is our only boy and we have 3 girls! Now that I’ve heard the heartbeat tho I am in love and excited!!! This nausea tho is no joke and shakiness since I can’t stand to eat much 🤮

I’m on baby #3 I have two girls 9 and 3 YO. Still haven’t heard baby’s heartbeat but we will next Tuesday! We’re taking our girls with to the scan to find out they have a new sibling! The nausea and morning sickness was really bad with both my girls but this baby it’s only been a bit of nausea here and there. I’ve been able to eat this time thankfully. ( food aversions and no ability to keep anything down with my second) I’m dealing with the shakiness sometimes and I just talked to my OB. She recommended more protein and protein before bed to keep the food in my belly longer. For my second child the only way I was able to make it through was with pedialyte popsicles every morning before I ate something. I also mostly drank vitamin water because water was even hard to keep down. And listen to your cravings!!! I was craving a lot of potatoes and pickles. So that tells me my body was needing potassium and more electrolytes. Good luck Mamas!

Thanks for that information about more protein, I will try that and see if it’ll help! But it’s crazy to me because I can’t even stand cooking 🤮 it makes me gag! I haven’t actually thrown up yet lol but omg it’s bad this time. The last pregnancy I was this sick with was my first that was 8 years ago 😂😭😭😭

If you can try some protein shakes. I really like the Orgain brand I get the Chocolate plant protein with 50 superfoods kind. It has so many fruits, vegetables and it’s very nutrient dense. It taste like chocolate milk to me. It has a slight fruity taste kind of like cherries.

@Annie yeah with my second my nausea was so bad I couldn’t cook either. Which was hard because my husband isn’t much of a cook. I couldn’t even be in the kitchen because the spice cabinet was so strong smelling and the fridge. I made my husband completely clean it and remove any old or almost expired food and it still stunk. He mostly made frozen meals or picked up some food. Rotisserie chicken is a good option. It eventually got better around 20 weeks. Maybe see if there’s some convenience meals that hubby can cook, salad kits, or maybe reach out to some family and friends and ask if they are able to send you some gift cards so you can order some food when your up to eating.

This is my second one but still a shock. 🫠 I just had a baby last year. He just turned a year old. We were so careful too! 🥲 and I still ended up pregnant. (Told my husband he's getting snipped. 🤭) Nausea hasn't been too bad. My first pregnancy I was literally dying by 8 weeks bc i couldn't eat anything and was hospitalized around 15 weeks for being malnourished and severely dehydrated. My blood pressure was through the roof and my heart rate was extreme low. I lost 35 lbs with my first one, i told my husband we weren't going have anymore (he has two others with his ex wife, so with mine that would've made 3) but I guess God had a different plan. 🥴 Just hope this pregnancy doesn't have all the complications that I had with my first one. 🤞🏼
