I'm hoping for traditional schooling. Firstly, my partner and I both work full time and neither of us are educators so I don't think we could do the job justice and it would just be an added thing for me to stress about, secondly I would want her to go to school for the social element. However, I know school isn't the right place for every child and if that turns out to be the case then we will cross that bridge and look at our options when we come to it x

I suppose it’s all up to you and how you feel about the school system and schools in your area. I’m in Northern Ireland and we have a good school system, however I want to send my child to an integrated school here so she likely won’t go to the school closest to us which will be a faff but worth it. Similar to Monique I don’t think I’d be up to home schooling, I work full time as does my partner. Our girl is very socialable and keen to learn so at the minute I feel she will thrive in a school environment.

Home education all the way for my likely neurodivergent kiddos. I'm aspie, husband adhd, I have two kids who seem like carbon copies of us, one aspie, one adhd. We both had traumatic experiences in the school system, and I don't want to force my children through that. I feel confident I can help them reach whatever goals they set for themselves faster and with more empathy than school. I also feel confident I can give them a well rounded, useful education (I got the straight A's autism lol) and give them plenty of opportunities to socialise in an environment that's more 'real' than school is. Unless either of them expresses that they want to go to school (in which case I'd follow their wishes) I will choose home education. There's a free advice group on Facebook called HEFA (Home Education For All), it's absolutely amazing for learning your rights and responsibilities in the UK, if anyone here is interested in HE and wants to know more.
