Failing at parenthood

Feel like I'm failing so badly with my LB.. he's nearly 8 months old and there's so many things he still can't do! I know every baby learns at their own pace but he never rolls over (has only done this a couple of times and does it in the cot using the bars), doesn't grab any food from his tray during mealtimes and isn't a fan of being spoon-fed and won't do it himself! But he'll take food whenever we put it in his mouth! Feeling very frustrated!

My little one started rolling on when she turned 7 months, just one day she woke up and decided to do it 😅 I went to GP twice asking what’s wrong with her, and she was just lazy 🫣 now she started with one new thing every day. I know it’s hard, but try not to worry too much! ❤️

i know its really tough and its ok to feel frustrated. but what he's doing is absolutely no reflection on your parenting at all! i always think - even though it feels so important now, eventually when they're toddlers who go to kindergarten or get to preschool age, it will barely matter who crawled/rolled/weaned at what time/stage, what will matter is how much love their parent showed and shows them, which i'm sure you absolutely do x

Do not feel like this, and please don't compare your baby to others( we all do at some point) remember they do stuff in they own time. Lots of floor time play time and you see one day he wake up and decided to choose violence and start crawling hahah Don't beat yourself up you great.!!
