Letrozole dose
How many cycles do you try on a specific dose before upping up dose? I ovulate without letrozole but don't get pregnant, however I had 2 pregnancies 1 baby from letrozole cycles.. first on 5mg, second on 7.5mg. Each time it was o 2nd cycle on a specific dose.. Now trying for second and after 4 unsuccessful 7.5mg cycles I had 2 unsuccessful at 10mg (about to get period). 1 of them was monitored and my dominant follicle was 30mm. As I'm about to start a new cycle I'm wondering if I should go down to 7.5 or try again at 10.. it will be a monitored and iui cycle. What would you do? I have 3 iui cycles ahead of me and no public funding after that until ivf in a year or 2..
I also ovulate with letrozole and have been on 2.5mg for 5 months with no success. Our consultant didn't recommend upping the dose since I already ovulate. I've basically been told ivf is our only hope now, so I find it interesting that other people have tried different doses.
