Vaccine injections

I just got my baby her vaccines today and the nurse did it on her thigh but did not insert the needle all the way and some leakage of the vaccine was noticed as well is that normal cause I’m worried that my baby did not get her vaccine inflection correctly and this an IM injection for a 2 month old?

I’ve never saw them poke the whole needle in but the leakage is something I might ask about. Ik they prepare for leakage for the oral meds, maybe they do the same for those too. But definitely ask and point it out

Vacines work by changing the baby's DNA it doesn't matter how much or how little as long it is in her body. A future virus. the reason it's called an IM shot because it's called intramuscular meaning it only needs to go in the muscle layer doesn't have to go all the way through his leg. As long as a little bit of medication goes inside then basically it has enough to change his DNA hence to fight off a future virus that your body will make the antibodies from the vaccination

Ok thank you!

leakage is normal and the needles shouldn't need to go all the way in usually!
