Flu vax

Anyone medically trained and able to give advise weather to give 10mo the flu vax? We will be travelling soon and it was recommended we all get it.

From my experience they can have it from six months old but will need two doses at least 4 weeks apart… if you’re going away sooner than 4 weeks from now I’m not sure how effective the first dose would be without the second one… Maybe someone else will be able to help with that though 🤗

Paediatric pharmacist here - yes in Australia we recommend after 6 months of age. Any child receiving their first flu vax it is actually recommended to get 2 to boost immunity each 1 month apart. :)
