Toddler hates bread 😒 any alternatives for lunch?

My toddler will not eat any kind of bread, regular, sourdough, pancakes, bagels, wraps, pitta, baguettes, brioche, croissants , even scones. I’ve tried them all multiple times, and she will only pick the inside out and leave everything else. I’m really tired of having to cook her an entire meal for lunch 🙃

Same here! So jealous when I see kids eating a cheese sandwich 😅

My little one doesn’t seem keen on carbs so meals are getting a bit limited 😅 I would love for him to eat sandwiches or pasta

My lo is the same won’t touch any of those things

ugh, that sounds super frustrating! maybe try making some fun shapes with the bread or even toast it a bit to change things up? this is what the 'Heal Baby Care App' mentioned… hope it helps! "It sounds challenging to deal with your toddler's selective eating habits. Since she prefers the insides, you might try offering softer, more appealing alternatives like bread-based dishes that incorporate the bread into a different form, such as bread pudding or French toast, where the texture is altered. Another option is to focus on providing dips or spreads that she enjoys, which can make the bread more enticing. Have you noticed any specific textures or flavors she prefers that could help guide your meal planning?

Crackers? Pre make pasta?

Egg / veg / cheese muffins, omelette, potato gnocchi, rice and sauce, tuna fittas, quiche

I have the opposite problem. Mine picks off the bread and won’t eat the substance. That said, if LO is not into bread, have you considered taking cold cuts and just rolling them up to make little pinwheel sandwiches?

@Yog she won’t eat any muffin things either or quiche. She does like rice though!
