Preeclampsia UK mums

Question to UK mums because I don't quite understand my results on Badger Notes. The last couple of midwife appointments I've had, there were trace amounts of protein in my urine. Today, however, my results are now ' Protein +'. At what point on the scale were you told you had preeclampsia and that they would need to induce you early? I'm currently 31 weeks tomorrow, my second pregnancy. BP is still pretty normal. I've had some spotty vision and tiredness, and my morning sickness has started up again (although I have been diagnosed with anemia so I had put it down to that).

Hey, I had blood pressure issues (gestational hypertension) from 22 weeks, then developed cholestasis at 30 weeks and was high risk for pre-e, I had ‘protein +’ since 16 weeks it wasn’t until it spilled over to ‘protein +++’ that it combined with the blood pressure and was diagnosed as pre-eclampsia also! Hope this helps 🥰

@Beth thank you! Midwife said not to worry at the slight increase but that's really hard to do 😅

Oh absolutely! I spent my whole pregnancy an anxious wreck, but my protein slowly increased and didn’t over 3 until 34 weeks so that combined with my high blood pressure confirmed pre-e, I did go on to have a healthy baby boy and we just about scraped to 37 weeks 🥰
