Toddler meals

I’m struggling with toddler meals. My LO won’t eat chicken or beef or fish fingers..anything meaty he won’t eat. He used to love veg but recently he’s throwing it off his plate and not eating it. He also used to have a weetabix every morning and now he’s gagging on it and refusing to eat it. the only thing he still loves is his fruit but I’m worried he’s not getting enough nutrients now. I’ve tried fritters, hiding avocados and sweetpotatos in pancakes and other things but he’s got so fussy with his eating he’s lived off fruit, yoghurt and toast now for about 3 days (he was poorly for 2 of those days) but it’s like he’s just decided now, that’s his diet😣 Any suggestions on healthy food ideas for fussy eaters or a way to encourage them to eat/try new things

My daughter is almost 2 and we’ve just had this stage! We’re luckily coming out the other side of it now, all I can say is persevere and still offer everything you normally would. I started mixed ground nuts, seeds etc into her yoghurt for an added bit of something probs did nothing but made me feel better 😂 I put peanut butter on toast/ cream cheese for more protein & Atleast eating fruit! Try a smoothie with loads of spinach etc if you have a machine we had “special juice” until she perked up a bit x

At least he is still eating something. Always remind yourself. It's your job to offer what kind of food and where. That is where your job ends. It's their job to decide how much of it to eat. There are some great accounts on Facebook about sneaking in veggies. I like the account, kids eat in color. It's specifically about picky eating. She even has a guide. Very comprehensive and informative. I hope everything works out for you ❤️

@Jess I do have a blender he’s just frightened of it😂 whenever I try to use it he has a complete meltdown and shakes with fear, it’s like everything and anything at the moment is a problem but I will have to give it another go at this rate! Thank you

@Janina this has made me feel a lot better, thank you!
