Hi arrowe was my hospital, they will put you on the monitor for heart rate and you will sit and click each time to feel baby move and if they are not happy with movements they will scan you, when I went it with reduced movements, baby made me out to be a liar and was wriggling away, but they are usually quite quick, I was about an hour x
It’s more that the movements arnt very strong but I don’t know if it’s in my head x
I went due to movements being reduced and slow and once I got put on the monitor my boy also made me out to be a liar but the staff at arrowe were lovely to me and told me no matter how silly I feel better to be checked ❤️ (glad they did say that as at 38 weeks I had increased movements, felt silly going but ended up being induced) It takes around an hour of monitoring, if they aren’t sure they’ll make you do an extra half hour to an hour If you’re unsure you can ring triage and they’ll assess over the phone whether you need to come in x
Have you had a scan yet your placenta may be at the front x
2yrs ago now but they would stick me on the monitor, never had a scan for reduced movements but had a cervical scan for leaky waters
Mine in Liverpool women’s took about 20 mins, they check heartbeat first n then do a full body check and sometimes they’ll give u extra scan pics x
