Try breast milk!
My LGs is the same! I've been putting breastmilk on it and giving her a breastmilk bath and that seems to be helping a bit! I appreciate only helpful if you are BF
@Shamel personally I am formula feeding ☹️
Correct me if I’m wrong but could it be a bit of cradle cap?
@Katie my babies looks exactly the same and the doctor said cradle cap is much more thin and flaky and that it is dry skin x
That’s cradle cap and very common in babies. You can pick up a shampoo in the supermarket but I’d just check the age you can use it from. I wouldn’t pick it. It doesn’t last long x
@Shamel I don't breastfeed sadly but I did with my first and I used that
I know you said you’ve tried moisturiser but my sons was like this and the child’s farm and nalas baby one works a treat. My health visitor also said to try an emollient in the bath? Also might be what you are bathing him in or how frequent etc so consider those too xx
@Sophie can I ask did you also exfoliate it? Or did it come off on it’s own x
@Chloe I never exfoliated it personally. With my first I left it well alone and just moisturised it and used nalas night time oil in the bath to loosen any on its own. With my second, it was more dry skin so far I think and moisturiser has well and truly cleared it up. Xx
Definitely cradle cap poor pickle! This worked for us last time https://amzn.eu/d/eby0UY5
Pure Coconut oil
This looks more like cradle cap
We had this and the midwife recommended coconut oil and that worked well.

Definitely cradle cap, right time to develop it as well. Advice online is to moisturise it. Can also be made worse with allergies as well. X
Hey, thank you everyone this helps me a lot 💗
My baby starting developing cradle cap and I started using the mustela repairing cream which got rid of it in a few days. https://amzn.eu/d/dGGQFPu
cradle cap! my little one is also currently experiencing it. we just got told not to pick and peal it, as temping as it can seem and apply moisturiser a few times a day. if that doesn’t seem to be working i have heard that breast milk is good for helping skin conditions like this. it is very common for babies though and doesn’t cause them any pain or discomfort x
Try coconut oil, just be wary of babies eyes🫶🏽
Coconut oil - we use the organic brand from Boots called Kokoso. It’s great
Following as my baby is the same, I never know if to try scrub it off or leave it be, doesn’t seem sore just crusty 😭
