I wanted to know if there’s a specific date in which the government will put in their share of the money and I want to know how much I need to pay in? X

As far as I know, no specific date. When we added money in the top up would follow like a day or two later so would just depend on when we put money in. How much you need to pay in depends on how much your nursery fees are x

So you need to do it via the childcare account on the gov.uk website. You need to calculate it yourself and add your 80% and then they automatically add the extra 20%, sometimes the same day but up to 2 days. So if nursery fees are due on the 1st for example, you need to do pay your share by the 29th/30th to make sure they’re paid on time. You add the amount and then select your childcare to be paid the full amount on X date.
