Take it one step at a time , pack bit by bit if you need

It can be so overwhelming, have you tried making a list I found this helped most! Also hospital will have most the stuff you need if you forget it. I redone my hospital bag probably 3/4 times. Best way I done it was all my stuff bagged and labels and same with baby that way your birthing partners or midwife’s can go straight to bag and get what you need. Such as first outfit , toiletries, labour stuff.

I think I’m gunna follow a list to make it easier for myself and Sounds good idea labelling it all, thankyou for your help 😊

Try not to get stressed. Make yourself a list of the basics - one for you, one for baby, and your birth partner. I found it easy to over think my bags and made about 5 different lists and packed/repacked multiple times. Put things you’ll need quickly on the top and make sure your birth partner knows where things are. Packing cubes are good for this or we used big zip lock bags and I labelled them. In the end, baby decided to come pretty fast and all the bags were still in the car so it really isn’t the end of the world. If you forget something, the hospital can usually provide. Just try to enjoy these last weeks and relax as much as possible. It’s easy to get caught up in the stress and anxiety but before you know it baby will be here!

I looked at like 5 different lists I found on Google to help me pack and after that I ended up repacking it like 10 times throughout the last month of the pregnancy lol It'll be okay, and if you have long hair don't forget hair ties, I forgot some with my first birth and hated it so thankful a nurse had one lol

If it makes you feel any better, I had mine packed from 32 weeks and used basically none of it despite going in for a scheduled induction! Honestly just pack a normal overnight bag, plus a change bag and add your maternity pads. Anything else you need you can buy in or send someone out for!

And bring an empty bag to the hospital, for everything the hospital gives you for postpartum and baby

@Nevaeh not in England unfortunately lol you provide it yourself

@Wayne damn I'm sorry

You still have time, don’t panic! Pack the essentials don’t over pack. My list here if it helps Baby -4 outfits including going home outfit (vest, nappy, baby grow with built in mittens and a hat) that’s how l packed it. -pack of wipes -nappies -cellular blanket -2 muslin cloths -nappy sacks Me -dressing down -toiletries of your choice -comfy under 4x -maternity pads or underwear -hair ties -lip balm - nursing bra -slippers for shower -comfy pjs -comfy shoes for going home -comfy clothes for going home -breast pads -ready made formula (if not breast feeding) -anything else you’d like to add

@Wayne Thankyou so much this will really help with packing.

@Nevaeh don’t provide anything like that over here, your so lucky in America 😊

@Georgia I will try not stress too much it’s just overwhelming time that’s all but it will past 😅 thankyou for that recommendation buy some zip lock bags on Amazon today, Be alot more easier to find everything.

@Annabel oh and definitely take a fan of some sort, it gets hot!!

@Georgia Definitely especially through pushing lol

@Annabel @Wayne yeah they let us take whatever's in the room but then there's the $50,000+ bill that not everyone can get covered by insurance lol

@Nevaeh Wow that’s alot of money glad we don’t have insurance bills over here to give birth.

@Nevaeh yikes! That’s a very big bill! So glad we don’t have that here
