How to (break) a picky eater?!

My toddler is so picky she will not eat at daycare and she’s there for 7 hrs a day! I feel like she isn’t being encouraged to eat or they don’t care much because it’s about 10 other toddlers in her class. I thought her being exposed to other kids her age would make her want to eat like the others but it’s been 2 months and she won’t touch a thing.. I’m depressed about and feel like I need to pull her out. At least at home I know she would be eating with me. Maybe I thought daycare would be different..

Are you allowed to bring her a lunch?

Being that she’s not eating the director has allowed me to bring food now

Is she in daycare because you work? She may feel uncomfortable or wasn’t ready for daycare. Try packing her her own food. Also I didn’t like the she’s not being encouraged to eat I hope day care workers aren’t that crazy! Maybe try talking to worker so they can do on there part to help her. My LO never eats when we are out. We could be at a party, park, or family member’s house and she waits till we get home. She barely eats in the car. When we are me dad and her sister well eat with her but nope she waits to get home.

@Cookie she’s in daycare because I work from home and I’m pregnant. They just told me I am able to pack her a lunch because when she 1st started they were like no outside food is allowed .. they definitely aren’t encouraging her to eat! The things she normally eats she isn’t touching at daycare when they have it the few times. The director told me Her teachers never informed her that she wasn’t eating which is insane to me
