Sumatriptans whilst pregnant?

Heyyy, has anyone ever had to take triptans whilst pregnant? The doctor has prescribed me some for my terrible migraines but I’m pretty sure you aren’t meant to take them unless necessary?

Hey. I had really bad multiple times a week migraines couple years ago and the dr asked me if I was pregnant or ttc. I was ttc and the Dr prescribed sumatriptan instead of the main one. So it is safe. However defo use if necessary and for the extremely painful migraines.

I had a consultant appointment where it says they can be used if having a terrible migraine but use sparingly. I’ve managed to avoid having a horrific migraine in pregnancy but I have sumatriptan regularly as I get weekly migraines!

I used during my pregnancy when they got really bad and it was fine! It was zolmitriptan I couldn’t take

I used them when I was pregnant. Everything was fine xx
