@Jackie with my first pregnancy I worked 6 months then had maternity leave with pay so I don’t know
Really?? I guess it depends on the employer. Because the HR at my was adamant about being in the company a year.
My job *
You can find all the info online but it says that you have to be with a company for a specific amount of time to qualify for maternity leave so you 100% won’t get paid unfortunately. Idk the specific time but it’ll def be longer than you’ve been there but check it all out just google nj fmla
I could be wrong though never hurts to try. I would see if you can find a phone number on the state website and see if there is anything you can do
Have you had continuous work in the State of NJ? If yes, you might qualify for TDI (temporary disability insurance). But you won’t qualify for FMLA unless you have been there for a year. I would look at the state website. This is all assuming chipotle doesn’t have their own separate maturity leave, but my employer defaults to what the state provides.
@Charlotte I was out of work for 2 months then found this but thank you!! I will
Hey. So apparently you’ll need to be at the job for a year. To get fmla job protection. And you can apply for short term disability. Some companies do that for employee 6 months - a year. Check with your hr! That’s what i did with my job to find out.
You’ll just have to file for disability 4 weeks before your due date
I believe you have to work at a company for a year to get maternity leave without pay.
