My girls 2 now and I started at 3 months , everyone has a freak out lol but it’s what was done to me and I was severely prem and fine! All upto you ! X

I wouldn’t. I weaned at 5.5 months (4.5 months corrected) and my little girl ended up with multiple allergies which I’m not sure if it’s a coincidence or not. She’s got skin problems as well currently so I’d definitely wait. I only weaned this early due to a milk allergy, reflux and poor weight gain under the supervision of a dietitian and paediatrician x

Can recommend the NCT weaning workshop it gave alot of info about readiness signs x

I think it’s often recommended by health professionals for babies that struggle with milk intolerance, but if baby is okay taking the milk I don’t really see the need xx

I found this really informative 😊 we'll be waiting until 5.5 months but that's because he was 2 weeks early and I'm paranoid about iron reserves lol

We’ll be waiting for 6 months, there’s a tonne of readiness signs to look out for beyond watching. I’d use it as an opportunity to talk baby through what’s happening etc to involve them in dinner time that way instead x

Why the rush?

Have a look at Charlotte Sterling Reed, she’s a child nutritionist and discusses making sure all the signs of weaning are present first

Nope, I don't see the need to rush it. Can cause issues long-term and I'm not willing to take that chance I'm waiting until 6 months

Thanks guys just asking if other have started as I know some do. I have read up on a few things and looking out for other stuff that she does. Will wait a lil longer 👌✔️
