@Audrey I used them in the newborn size for a minute and again now that we are size 2 but I haven’t been confident enough to know if I want to commit to the brand. They haven’t leaked or had any blowouts for me while using them but they don’t seem nearly as absorbent as Huggies. Then again, they’re a world cheaper so I’m just asking myself if it really matters at the end of the day!
But for the same price of 180 Huggies skin essentials I can get like 300 or so target brand diapers 😂 and we sometimes go through 4 diapers in one change!
We used them for a long time, but I do find that they run a little bit smaller than other diapers do. My son was in them until he was a size 5 diaper. And by smaller I mean they were shorter? If that makes sense? Like they didn’t go as far up his back as he got older? Or maybe my son is weird lol
We did buy the night time up and up brands for putting him in overnight because they were getting soaked through as he was getting older and peeing more throughout the night
@Tiffany yeah I think the fit depends on the baby! My baby is only 6 weeks and already in a size 2 so them running smaller makes a good fit for him. Huggies is bigger but works and Pampers are even bigger, yet size 1 is leaving marks on him.
@Tiffany were the overnight up & ups absorbent enough for sleep?
I’ve used them and have had friends who use them. They’re pretty good for the most part but do not hold breastmilk poop 😂
@Tessa I’ve noticed that! The Huggies absorb it a bit but with up & up it just sits there on the surface
Yes they were definitely absorbent enough for nighttime! Yeah my son is 2.5 and in size 7 diapers in pampers. We switched from up and up to costcos Kirkland brand which were a bit bigger and also cost effective but they only go up to a size 6 so now we’re in pampers swaddlers which definitely work but are more expensive obviously
I haven’t tried those, but we use the parents choice Walmart diapers! They’re even more affordable than up&up, and we love them. I was really hesitant at first because of the price, but they even have the little blowout blocker on the back! I heard some people say that they didn’t work well because of the shape of their babies body, but we’ve had zero issues. My son is almost 6 weeks old and we haven’t had any blowouts since switching to these 4 weeks ago. They’re 4 dollars for a pack of 44, so it’s definitely worth a shot to get some and see if they work for your baby.
Cosco diaper prices are insanely low! Have you checked out their diaper selection? I am pregnant with my first right now, but I can’t imagine shopping anywhere else for baby supplies!
@Kendra I heard parents choice was good too!! I believe those and up & up are among the cheapest diapers. Maybe I’ll give Walmart a try too then!
@Carissa I don’t have Costco, but worth checking out!
Loove Up & Up. Surprisingly, Kroger brand diapers also hold up pretty well & they’re really cheap compared to most brands.

@Hartise I tried Kroger but they were too small on my son so maybe I can give them another try in the size up!!
We use them and love them as my daughter is petite. No problem with leaks for us either
I used them for both of my kids…but only size 3 and up. I tried them with both kids when they were newborns and they leaked a lot and never seemed to fit right. We went back to them later on and they were great for both regular and overnight diapers.
I have some of these my daughter just hasn’t made it out of preemie yet to try them so i definitely want to know too
