Baby hot head, no fever

My sister’s 7.5 month old ALWAYS has a hot head (body not hot) and no fever. Since she had her first jabs at 7 weeks her head felt warm as you’d expect a potential fever coming on but she never actually got one but the heat off her head has never stopped since - no matter the weather, she’s not over dressed, stressed, shes a happy baby. She doesn’t even cry real tears (twice she’s had a single tear) and she has pretty much no hair. Has any else experienced this?

No. But I mean my kids heads get hot when they’re playing a lot so it could just be something like that. But I’d ask their doctor whenever she has her neck doctors appointment

Yeah she’s going to ask the health visitor. It’s so strange, you’d think like you said they get hot when they play but it’s been happening from 7 weeks and she’s 7 months now and not crawling either so not exactly doing over strenuous playing and it’s all day everyday, it’s never cool or just warm. If you felt it, it’s the type of hot where you’d expect her to have a temp of like 39/40. It’s so strange!

My 8mo sweats when she sleeps even when it’s cold out! No matter what layers she always sweats just her head though. So maybe if they’re lying down could be same? Mine isn’t mobile yet so same not doing much

My son had a hot head like this from as early as I can remember. We never did get to the bottom of it. I’d be intrigued to know…

@Shadae does he still? X
