Feltham hill school

Is feltham hill a forest school? Does anyone send their child here? What's it like? I'm exploring the idea of sending my son to a forest school but need to do a lot of research. If there's any other forest schools in the borough please let me know your experience?

I work at Feltham hill and both my daughters have gone there.. its not a forest school per say, but it promotes lots of outside busy learning (learning through play) the areas are changed every half term. So say your child is in Reception, the outside area consists of a large sandpit, drawing & writing table, construction area, trim trail, bikes & scooters, a fire engine area, a reading corner etc. Every area has lots of resources say the construction area, theirs bricks, wooden blocks, tools, computer, hard hats, jackets for them to wear etc. If you have any questions let me know x

Hey my son goes there and other one will go in sept I would say it’s a very good and decent school .. and I totally agree with Shannon..

@Shannon @Hoor - thank you both! Is the forest school /outdoor learning separate from the main school? I assumed it was a normal mainstream school but was surprised they had this facility. It starts from 3yrs correct?

@Chaniqua every year group has there own outside busy learning area. Nursery & reception share, year 1 have there own and year 2 have there own. And every year group has direct access to there outside area.. so after they've done there learning jobs for the morning they can go outside and go in and out as they please for an example. Nursery starts at 3 yes, they offer mornings, afternoons or full days 🥰

@Shannon thank you for sharing. I'll try attend an open day when they next have it. My son is 3 next year
