Weird question
It’s a bit of a weird question, but I’m too shy to ask my recruiter… when is the first payment during bootcamp? I’ve heard about a month and I heard about less… I wish to know so I can know when to leave my current job…

My husband started BCT Feb 19 and his first pay was deposited to his account on March 12.
Not sure what branch but when my husband went into basic training in the air force he got paid in 2 weeks. However your military pay usually goes towards your uniforms and some of your equipment i believe they also used his money for haircuts, he was able to call me and send me money so i can pay his phone bill though or just send me money for me and my son :) so you do get paid while you’re there but most of it is used those first few weeks for uniforms. OCP’s, dress uniforms, etc and anything else.
