I saw this in Tesco the other day, but what put me off buying it was the 3 years+ on it…BUT I just give my little girl regular sugar free squash so I think it was the age that done it for me🤣 I find my little girl drinks more if it’s slightly flavoured with squash compared to plain water which is more important to me especially with illnesses and warmer weather coming. In short, do what you think is best mama❤️
@Lauren I only saw that once it had been delivered 🤦🏻♀️ thank you xxx
I'd be worried that once they get a taste for squash it might be hard to get them to drink plain water but I'm guessing the reason you bought this was because they weren't drinking water?!
If they drink water well I’d stick to plain water for as long as possible personally x
My children are 5 years old & 17 months old both have no added sugar squash every day in their drinks bottles, I will also refill with squash if the bottles are empty. They will also drink water if I give it to them so I don’t really care tbh lol.
My little boy loves the orange version of this! He only has it maybe a couple of times a week as when I do give him a cup of it he just downs it and fills himself up on it instead of eating 🤣 x
Stick to water as long as you can if they drink it. I'm part of a few weaning groups on fb, and they don't recommend these particular ones because of the added vitamins. You also shouldn't get sugar-free, apparently, because they are full of sweeteners, which is worse for them, it should be no added sugar... 🤷🏼♀️ You're actually better giving them a really tiny amount of a normal sugared version. Not personal advice but what I've seen recommended by the admins on weaning groups x
I’ve never given my daughter squash, once you give it to them they’ll not go back to water and she loves water 😂
@Lucy both of mine have no issue with water & they drink squash 😂
My son has squash all the time I don’t see no harm as long as you brush their teeth
