Does anyone have experience with physical therapy? My son is 9 months actual 7 months adjusted and is rolling belly to back and that's about it. Our pediatrician was wishy washy on physical therapy and said it would accelerate things but we could do it on our own too. I have no idea what we should do. I'm so concerned about him being behind.
Knowing very well every child is different, but taking into consideration he is a preemie and you already have concerns I would definitely do PT. Your his mama & if your considering it it’s for a reason, my daughter is 19 months actual 13 adjusted & does PT & it definitely has helped her so much, yes there are things you do at home because you know basics and etc but it never hurts to get more ideas from PT 🩷
When we were discharged from NICU we started PT. It has been helpful as they come once a week and show me what exercises to do with her. I'm in NJ and we use Early Intervention. I would suggest seeing if there's a program where you live.
