Lawton, OK

Anyone live in Lawton? Our family is moving to OK end of this year. Hubby’s family lives in Lawton and wants to be close to them but I really want to have lots to do, tons of amenities. I love the looks of Broken Arrow or Owasso and that’s still only 3 hours from his family. We are also a homeschool family so I’d love to have access to extracurricular activities. We’re moving from a place the size of Lawton but there’s nothing to do here, high crime rate, you have to drive a couple hours for anything fun to do. So tell me, what’s Lawton really like? Is it a good place to raise kids? Is there a lot to do?
