Walking shoes help
Hi mums what walking shoes are the best I’ve looked on Clark’s reviews but the reviews are really bad saying the Velcro straps don’t last. Has anyone got measured at Clark’s and then got the shoes from somewhere else? Don’t want to waste my money 🙃 thankyou!!

We’ve had plenty of pairs from Clarks, Startrite and Camper. Clarks have an outlet website which might be better value. I mean they may not last long regardless (we had one pair that he wore forever! Then the next pair he grew out of in just over a month 🤦🏻♀️) Startrite and Camper are usually bigger than Clark’s BTW so measurements won’t always be the same. Width measurements are really important in the early stages x
Some times I’ll get measured then buy them off Vinted 😊
My daughter has had loads of Clarks shoes, some laces and some Velcro, no issues at all. I've bought some from Clarks, some the Outlet and some off Vinted. My daughter is always comfy in their shoes and I feel like they're good quality for growing feet x
Hey we got the pre walking dinosaur shows and the walking Roald Dahl crocodile shoes for my lb from clarks. He's been wearing it for a good couple weeks and we haven't had issues with the velcro at all. I wonder which shoes they're talking about? The only problem I've faced is that the material is prone to getting scratched up and dirty very fast. They do measure feet and they will allow you to test the shoes there too. So yes you could get the size checked and buy elsewhere. Keep in mind that sizes do slightly differ across stores but at least you'll have an idea.
