Postpartum Sciatica

Hello, I had my baby through vaginal delivery 2 weeks ago but I’m suffering so badly with sciatica on my right side to the point where I can barely get out of bed or walk. I am seeing a chiropractor but it’s not helped yet. I’m taking ibuprofen but nothings really helping that much. My partner goes back to work in a week and I’m so worried if it’s not improved by then. Does anyone have any similar stories or advice? Thank you

I suffer with sciatica, a strong ibuprofen helps. 600mg. Works best before bed. Sometimes I take 2 tabs. As its a inflamed nerve. Ibuprofen takes inflammation away

I had it in lockdown originally (before babies) and i found sitting was the worst part. As you recover and get back to moving fully like before it may die down. Mine did when I got back to walking a lot. I had stretches from Dr given to me. Once I had my section, when I recovered from that and began moving my sciatica also chilled out and went. Started with it again this time at 8 weeks so ready for it to go again too!

Have you tried Accupunture? Weekly sessions for a while really helped me
