Problems at dinner time

Is anyone else having issues getting their LO to eat their dinner? I actually dread dinner time just now because my wee girl seems to just not be hungry. I’ve tried giving her an afternoon snack earlier in the day so she’s hungrier come dinner but that made no difference. Also tried offering different things. She usually just eats what we eat (she watches us eat too) but she’s more often than not, not interested so then I either have to make a whole new dinner for her or revert to a jar/pouch which she doesn’t eat much of either so she ends up going quite a long time before she’ll finally eat something. I’ve seen her not eat dinner and then refuse anything else offered and has fallen asleep without eating dinner but wakes up at 12/1am starving😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 She’s not had any formula for almost 2 weeks now so I really don’t want to put her on it again but I’m worried she’s not getting enough to eat. She is 1 year old now so should be off formula anyway. Any advice?

How early are you feeding her before bedtime? My boy has gone through phases of this. Usually during teething or if he’s tired. Sometimes I revert to a snack because he will always take those 🤷🏻‍♀️ and he even will eat some of his dinner afterwards. It’s all so tricky when they can’t fully communicate ♥️

@Tasha she usually goes to bed at 7:30pm so she’s normally having her dinner at 6pm with her last snack before that being around 4-4:30pm. I’m sure if she could just have snacks all day then she absolutely would 🤦‍♀️It’s so tricky isn’t it! X

Yup! I feel you! It gets more difficult when they start having preferences too and just rejects everything 🤦‍♀️ it's very stressful and my least fav time as well 😞
