Not until 6 months as per NHS guidelines x

@Rachel I agree, planning to wait till 6 months or till she’s comfortably able to sit up by herself so less chances of choking.

There's a quiz online that shows you the signs that a baby is ready to start weaning - https://www.nhs.uk/start-for-life/baby/weaning/ready-or-not-weaning-quiz/ Usually after 6 months of age unless recommended by a doctor for medical reasons

I will start weaning after 6 months as the world health organisation suggests. Baby rice is also not recommended anymore. Planning on baby led weaning again.

Never because it provides absolutely no nutritional value whatsoever, filling them up on nothing and contains arsenic.

Thanks everyone - 6 months is what I thought but I’ve had multiple people say baby rice in particular can be given from 4 months! Wanted to see what everyone’s thoughts were X

@Jessica they’re allowed to put 4 months on the packaging but baby’s stomach isn’t developed enough to digest solids properly until 6 months. It’s very misleading but I’d always stick to the NHS guidelines for feeding 🩷

@Rachel thank you so much, will wait till 6 months 🤍

@Sharnee not convinced the containing arsenic is true hahahha
