Sippy cup

My daughter is 8 months about to be 9 months and she is eating solids foods and I been trying to give her a a sippy cup since 6 2/1 months old to 7 month old she doesn’t want the sippy cup what should I do

Perhaps it’s the type of cup? We started using The First Years Squeeze & Sip Toddler Straw Cups from Amazon at meal time as our LO had refused to tip his bottles back. He now (12mo) uses straw cups wonderfully and is starting to test tipping open cups.

When I try to give a sippy cup she just turns her head away

so my son hated sippy cups (I think they needed too much force to drink out of while tipping) until we got the silicone sippy cup toppers from Amazon. they fit most cups, and are easy to drink out of.

I have the silicone sippy cups but she doesn’t like it
