FALSE DIAGNOSIS

On Tuesday I went in for a regular check up on my pregnancy. During the app, the doctor wanted to check the baby’s heartbeat, which of course I was okay with. Five seconds in the checkup, she says to me” your baby is dead. There is no fetus, only a sac”. She gets one of her colleagues in the room and she repeats the same thing, no baby, just a sac. Mind you, all this is happening while my hubby is on the phone with me because he’s deployed. The doctor send me in for blood work and put in my file” complete miscarriage”. Didn’t wait for the results or nothing. Keep in mind, while all this is happening, they’re already scheduled a D&C. Later the same day, I was on the phone with my bestfriend and I was texting with a new friend on here and legit felt my baby moving. They both told me to take my ass to the E.R. And guess what? My baby is alive and well and thriving. On top of lying and saying my baby is dead and I needed a D&C, they were off on how many weeks I was. Instead of being 11 weeks pregnant, I am 12 weeks and 6 days pregnant. BTW I went in today for a check up with my primary OB from a different place and I saw my baby kicking and moving. Moral of the story, don’t believe everything these damn doctors are saying. Always get a second and even a third opinion. I’m also switching hospital 🤦🏾‍♀️

I would be suing so bad ngl. seems so premeditated

@Tiana oh girl we’re thinking about it. Waiting to switch hospitals and we can start the process

Please, please, at the very least, report this doctor! Report them to the hospital and report them to the medical board. To think the doctor almost killed a baby without future testing is next level of profound negligence and malpractice. And the word the doctor used is pure callous. I'm so sorry you went through this, but I'm so glad you got your second opinion and your baby is healthy🙏🏻

@Sophia how do I go about reporting the doctor to the medical board? I already called the hospital

I just noticed that on Google, if you type in "how to report a doctor for negligence" there's some good information, including links and steps in reporting.

Girl that’s gotta be negligent malpractice I’d definitely look into getting a bag outta that for the false diagnosis AND emotional distress
