I definitely wouldn’t, it’s not just the caffeine in them that’s not recommended it’s all the other crap that’s in them that they don’t know if it could harm the baby, not worth the risk
i personally wouldn’t, energy drinks like red bull and monster etc are meant to be a big no-no. if it’s the mango taste you’re wanting can you have something like a rubicon mango? i know it’s not the same but maybe a reasonable substitute 🤣
I stopped energy drinks when I was pregnant. I weren’t strict on anything else they recommend but energy drinks were a no for me 😂
This was my craving all the way through with my second, I’m 36 weeks tomorrow 🥲 tho tbf I had a bit of an addiction to it before I fell pregnant 😂 I wondered this too but thought better safe than sorry
A bit of tough love, but how much do you think you're telling yourself you'll only have one? And what's the chance this craving continues. I personally wouldn't risk it, but it's your body and your baby
I'm sorry but I absolutely wouldn't, full of caffeine and other nasties!
@Charlotte before pregnancy i hardly ever had energy drinks and do not have the money to be spending money on tonnes of energy drinks anyways so more than likely would only be 1 and if i continue to have the craving I’ll just try other substitutes like rubicon as someone suggested etc
@Kellie I do not have coffee or even tea the only thing I have with caffeine is chocolate every so often, and yes there is other stuff in that could cause harm to baby or me but I’m pretty sure 1 can would not cause all these issues pregnant or not, yes maybe multiple for prolonged periods but I don’t drink energy drinks often pregnant or not so it would only be 1 can
My friend has the odd one providing she has no coffee that day xx
I had a few sips of redbull any time I got the craving during pregnancy. Just the taste from a few sips quelled my craving so maybe just have enough to take your edge off.. although, I’m sure the one won’t be an issue! Enjoy x
You’ll be fine x
