Help with reflux
Needing some help with reflux
My little girl is 12 weeks and we got put on omeprazole last week at 3ml was not really working went back to the doctors and they have now upped the dose to 10ml.( she’s has been on gaviscon didn’t work)
It hard to give her the tablet as she just spits it out or is sick once we give her it.
She is fine in her self smiling away when lying down or in her chair it is just when we go to feed her she is crying and won’t take her bottle ends up exhausting herself and going to sleep.
When did omeprazole start taking effect and you start to see a difference ?
I’m so exhausted with trying to feed her to keep her volumes up.
Any advise would be really appreciated x

I went through the same experience, I think you see a change within a month.
@Morgan oh I fully lost it o think. People don’t get how tough it is. Have you ruled out milk allergy xx
@Gem aww I know it’s hard. she has a VSD so is on high calorie milk the now we done a tester with it and seemed to be fine but how has took a turn. I might say to the doctor just incase she has went on this again xx
It took a good few weeks to work!! I have had two reflux babies and it’s so tough-just keep doing what you can! You will be doing amazing!!! X
