Potty training

I’m on day 1 and currently trying out three day method of day1) no bottoms day2) underwear day3) clothes. We’ve not had any accidents so far today, he’s always gone on the potty. Luckily I’m not having to keep pestering him either he’s just taking himself to the potty. When have people plucked up the courage to go out in public? And how do you do it? I can’t guarantee a toilet everywhere we go. Thank you x

In the same boat as you except we've had three accidents and only one successful wee on the potty 🤣 not sure when we'll go out yet but we'll be taking a potty with us in case there's no toilet

@Holly that’s still good! It’s a start in the right direction. I was thinking of getting one of those ‘travel potties’ x

I went out on day 4 I believe! We had an amazing first day then day 2 and 3 she held it the whole time so just prepared that might be a stage he goes through! He may not but if he does power through! We have a potty in the car and a travel toilet seat that we take out and about. She can hold it while we get to a proper toilet

yes i went out on day 4 aswell with travel potty to begin with. he’s been potty trained a good 2 months now and we have the potty in the car and travel toilet seat when we’re out x

@Katie I’ve put pants on him today and he’s done brill but I actually do think he was holding his wee in for some reason, I was stressing that he’d not had a wee for 4 hours but actually he was refusing to drink too so maybe didn’t need to go.. who knows it’s all confusing 🫣🤣

@Rosie that’s great! Yeah I’ve no idea why they do these things 😂 My daughter did two days of holding then was normal for two days then after that she was going to the potty for every single tiny bit of wee 😂 On the Saturday she went for 18 wees 😂 She got there tho!!
