What do you put your newborn in at night to sleep?

I know you shouldn’t cover them with blankets or anything like that due to suffocation… do you just keep them in their sleep suit or sleep bag?

I’ve been using blankets since the beginning, but since he’s moving all the time throughout the night it’s quite useless now and I’m using sleeping bag (on top of his clothes)

We used a blanket tucked under the bottom of the crib mattress for the first few weeks and then used a swaddle. We then transitioned to sleep sacks at around 9 weeks as the swaddles were getting small (she’s a very long girl)

Sleeping bag 2.5 tog for 20 degrees or under. If over 20 degrees we use a 1 tog. Short sleeve vest and sleep suit xx

Pajamas and a swaddle. Slept in crib with a fitted sheet only.

Sleeping bag (wearing a baby grow / sleep suit)

I used to swaddle with a blanket that’s safe for newborns and then moved to sleeping bags x

Sleeping bag which helps him sleep really well x

Our baby girl didn't weigh enough for a sleeping bag, so we used velcro swaddles

Swaddle then a sleep sack
