If I had a dollar for every time my toddler put something from the floor in his mouth...
My boy has put so many gross things in his mouth. Not to mention he always tries to share his food with the dog who puts even grosser stuff in her mouth. Of course I try to stop him but at this age it's impossible to keep them protected from everything. I always just tell myself to pick my battles bc if I didn't, my very precocious, fiercely independent toddler would be only hearing "no" shouted from me all day long and I figure that would do a lot more damage than an m&m off the floor at Walmart would 🤷♀️🤣
My toddler ate animal poop once. He was fine🤣 I was absolutely mortified cuz he has a habit of putting rocks in his mouth but it was NOT a rock. He also ate two dandelions today so there is that😭 he’s gotten sick 1 time, and that was cuz everyone in the house had the flu. It’ll be alright🫡
@Danielle but I don’t. I always sanitize or wash my hands before eating or touching my face. Always.
Not likely…..the average person absentmindedly (without noticing) touches their face 50 times PER HOUR. That’s almost once a minute. It’s impossible to sanitize that much during the day when you touch your phone (very dirty) all the time or a keyboard at work (if applicable) or literally any surface/table/chair/furniture or adjust your clothes or put your hair behind your ear, or whatever you do throughout a day that has germs (even just in the air around us). Unless you live in a doctor-sanitized environment with hazmat suits…..you’re never germ free. Ever.
Super nasty but think about all the door knobs/gas pumps/surfaces/pets you touch right before you put your hands to your face/mouth/food before you wash your hands… I promise she’ll be fine 🫶🏾
