Early Glucose Test normal, 2nd pregnancy
Hi ladies! So this is my 2nd baby and I'm 11 weeks, I had GD with my son diagnosed at 26 weeks and it was a bit out of control by the end I was on metformin and insulin, raising units constantly in the last weeks (all was fine though I had a lovely, easy natural delivery and baby was only 7lb)
This time round they have tested me early at 10+4 and my results have come back normal...has anyone had early testing for their second baby and not found out they had it until later on? I'll be offered a repeat test at 24-28 weeks. Just don't want to get my hopes up too early that I won't have it this time around 🙈 thank you! X

Passed both tests with my second and urine tests, found out at 35 weeks due to baby’s growth measuring off the charts and finger pricking xxx
I had GD with my first. Currently pregnant with #2. Early tested at 20 weeks came back normal. Tested again at 24.5 and passed also but I was skeptical bc of my rapid weight gain. She agreed to give me a continuous glucose monitor so I don’t have to prick my fingers, so I’m going to wear that for 2 weeks. I’ve been testing at home all week with my own monitor and my numbers are basically what they were last pregnancy. So I’m expecting a diagnosis in 2 weeks.
On my second pregnancy and I’ve just found out I have GD again at 33 weeks after the first early test came back normal 😩

Not second pregnancy but first. I had tests at 8 weeks and 20 weeks (20 weeks was requested by me as I was showing all symptoms) and both come back fine, only at 28 weeks I was tested again and it came back positive! Think it’s all dependent on the type of test too. First two were basic test for my glucose levels, but 28 weeks one was with the glucose drink
