We are in the same boat, my little one will sometimes each a whole pouch at dinner time then sometimes won’t want it. Aswell with breakfast, sometimes eats it and sometimes doesn’t. He always eats Melty sticks though 🤦🏼♀️😂
You’re definitely not alone—it can feel so disheartening when progress is slow. My daughter is 1 year old (8 months corrected she was born at 24 weeks ), and we’ve been on a really tough weaning journey too. She has a strong aversion to food and often vomits after eating solids, so even tiny wins feel huge for us. Some days she’ll tolerate a few spoonfuls or small bits of finger food, and other days it’s a complete no-go. It’s so up and down, and I totally get that feeling of ‘should we be further along by now?’ But every baby is so different, and it sounds like yours is just taking it at her own pace too. You’re doing all the right things—even when it doesn’t feel like it.
Sounds like your little one is getting on better than mine. She often just dribbles whatever puree thing I give her out of her mouth. She is constantly grabbing the spoon and just wants to use that as a teether. She’ll put finger foods in her mouth but just sucks on them. It’s hard work for little reward
We have good days and bad days with it, think it's normal whilst they're getting used to new textures and flavours
