I don’t think there’s more to it, knowledge is power. Defund education and ban books and people become dump sheep. The reason the country is the way it is (from an outsiders perspective) is people have lost the ability to critically think, and have also lost all compassion for their neighbour. Which is wild when you think about how many “politicians” throw the bible about. Straight out of Hitlers playbook. Give the people a common enemy, it’s the brown/trans/foreign/etc. man’s fault you’re poor not my mates insider trading on the stock market I’m manipulating on the world stage.
