Did he sign the acknowledgment paternity paper at the hospital cause that paper should have his social security number on it as well as his address
@Linda no I gave birth alone so his name isn’t on the birth certificate
They will establish paternity first before moving forward with CS. He’d get served once located, then yall would go to mediation first where they’d most likely do a DNA test but I do think it’s up to the presumed father, but if yall don’t come to an agreement during mediation then a court date is set. But like I said, they still found him and I didn’t have his social or anything either and when he was served he had moved from my side of town to the woodlands and I didn’t have a clue
That could be tricky because he could say that your baby isn’t his and a paternity test would probably need to be done before they make him pay child support especially since his name isn’t on the birth certificate
I just used my court order and filed that way
When I filed years ago all I had was his name, phone number, and an old address. He sure did call my phone when he got served. So idk what they do but they were able to find my first baby daddy with the very little information I did have.
