I'll have to keep trying. Hopefully she'll get more comfortable with it. I play with her hair often but the moment I try to put it up she knows and wants nothing to do with it, lol.
It does take a few attempts to get it the first time. What are you using for a comb? I do notice my daughter reacts better to a wide tooth comb versus a regular comb so maybe that could be something too?
I’d put on my daughter’s fav show when I did her hair. I’d do a simple style with one or two hair ties. But as she got older, she could sit for longer
@Shania I just have a wooden comb, her hair is pretty fine so I don't need to brush it too often.
My little wiggle worm does piggies on nylon
Mine is an absolute wiggle worm. I had another mom tell me that it takes an immense amount of snacks with either a toy or a quick show. You can either do it while they are eating in their high chair or after. I usually put my daughter in my lap while sitting on the floor and give her a pouch and put on nursery songs from YouTube. I started off just by putting it in a pony tail and then graduated to two space buns. Once she got comfortable with her hair being up, that’s when I introduced bows and things. You have to take little steps and build up to it or they just rip it out
