I'll have to keep trying. Hopefully she'll get more comfortable with it. I play with her hair often but the moment I try to put it up she knows and wants nothing to do with it, lol.
It does take a few attempts to get it the first time. What are you using for a comb? I do notice my daughter reacts better to a wide tooth comb versus a regular comb so maybe that could be something too?
I’d put on my daughter’s fav show when I did her hair. I’d do a simple style with one or two hair ties. But as she got older, she could sit for longer
@Shania I just have a wooden comb, her hair is pretty fine so I don't need to brush it too often.
My little wiggle worm does piggies on nylon
I usually let her watch miss Rachel while I do her hair since it’s the one thing she’ll sit in one spot for. I usually give her a few bright color combs to play with as I do her hair as well
My daughter hates when I start messing in her hair and will barley let me get it done the only thing that I’ve found to work is giving her multiple things she usually is not supposed to touch/play with. As long as she can’t open it and it’s nothing crazy ofc I give it to her while in her high chair. She hates bows too and ends up ripping it right out. Snacks help a little bit until she notices I’m doing her hair lol
Mine is an absolute wiggle worm. I had another mom tell me that it takes an immense amount of snacks with either a toy or a quick show. You can either do it while they are eating in their high chair or after. I usually put my daughter in my lap while sitting on the floor and give her a pouch and put on nursery songs from YouTube. I started off just by putting it in a pony tail and then graduated to two space buns. Once she got comfortable with her hair being up, that’s when I introduced bows and things. You have to take little steps and build up to it or they just rip it out
